This program is a means for UNESCO to promote activities of a national or regional nature. It is endowed with a financial envelope that can reach the sum of 26,000 USD for each submitted, validated, and approved project.
Interested institutions can submit projects related to UNESCO themes by sending them, thru the DCEU, to the General Secretariat of the Algerian National Commission before February 10, 2026, a strict deadline for validation before being forwarded to the relevant UNESCO service for review and approval.
To do this, it is necessary to fill out the application presentation form and send it to the DCEU in both paper and digital versions, duly signed by the project leader.
It should be noted that each project must be based in an institution with the status of EPIC or EPST to house the funds allocated to it by UNESCO for its implementation.
NB: The proposed projects must be validated by the Algerian National Commission for Education, Science, and Culture before being submitted to the relevant UNESCO services.
