The film is set in the near future. And humanity has come closer than ever to its long–held dream of colonizing Mars. For many years, scientists could not solve the main problem – the lack of water on the Red Planet. But one of the researchers, William Stanford, came up with a unique device. With his help, he learned how to turn any dirt into water, and this is the key to survival on Mars. Now the governments are preparing to send the first colonists to the planet. But for this, William must first fly there. His task is to assemble the installation and prepare everything for the meeting of the first people.<br />

But the flight did not go according to the planned scenario from the very beginning. There were also some problems with the rocket in which Stanford was supposed to fly on the stratum. But the designers managed to fix the problems after some time. Another problem arose during the flight itself. William received a sudden order from Earth. He was told to turn the ship around and return. Otherwise, disaster was predicted for him. But our hero took too long to reach his goal. He disobeyed orders and continued his flight to Mars.<br />
